Country Reviewers

Health Research, Low and middle income countries, governance and policies, national priorities, key institutions, civil society, ethics committee

Country reviewers are responsible for quality control of information added to pages in HRWeb. We intend having at least three editors for each country or for each regional page – representing different points of view on research: government, research or academic organisations, and CSO/NGO. Others, for example media or informed citizens, are welcome as well.

Country reviwers work in two ways: they are prompted twice a year to do a review of the entire country pages – and to let us know about shortcomings and new additions that have been missed. Secondly, they receive an RSS whenever the country pages are changed – so they can check immediately what has been entered.

Country reviewers cannot change entries directly – but can write comments on 'discussion' pages, contact those providing the information to let them know about errors, or inform the HRWeb Editorial Board in case of patently unacceptable information being entered. We can then either contact those providing the data or remove such information immediately.

In return for their services, HRWeb will acknowledge their support by listing all country reviewrs and – if they wish – a short biosketch on the 'country reviwer' pages. For a current list of country editors – see below:
